EU Court finds Italy guilty of temporary work abuse in State schools

The Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that the Italian practice of having State school teachers work for years under temporary contracts is in breach of EU law.

The teachers, with assistance from the trade unions legal offices, could now files thousands of suits against the Ministry of Education. According to estimates, as many as 250,000 would be entitled to do that.
