Medical training turns into disaster in Italy

To become a medic in Italy you have to pass an exam to be admitted to a School of Medicine, then after you have graduated you to pass another exam to be admitted to a Specialization School.

Well, this years both these examinations turned into a disaster. The exams for the admission to the Schools of Medicine were declared null and void by the Administrative Courts, thus forcing Universities to accept 5,000 rejected candidates.

The exams for the admission to the Specialization Schools were nullified ex officio by the Ministry of University due to irregularities. Thousands of candidates will have to take the tests again.
