The first Concordia Concordia judgement? A victory for Schettino

While the criminal trial against Mr Francesco Schettino, the former commander of Costa Concordia, drags on, the Italian civil Courts are not sleeping.

For example, one awarded to Mr Schettino a 26,000 euros indemnity after his former employer Costa Crociere had refused to pay the expenses for his defense.

This is another episode that Prime Minister Renzi could use to convince voters that the Italian labor law is not working and needs a comprehensive reform.
