Germany conquers Italian national football team

Mr Antonio Conte, the former coach of Juventus, was appointed coach of the Italian national football team by the controversial newly elected President of the Italian Football Federation, Mr Carlo Tavecchio.

Mr Conte’s salary will be partly paid by German corporation Puma, something never seen before in the history of the Italian national football team. After winning the Brazil World Cup, Germany is one of Italy’s main rivals.

According to an online poll by the newspaper Corriere della Sera, the majority of the Italian public is against Mr Tavecchio’s decision.
