Italian GNP down again

The Italian National Institute of Statistics made known that the Italian GNP went down 0,1 percent in the first three months of 2014.

A hard fact which could make Prime Minister Renzi’s policy of “spreading optimism” harder to implement. It is not a lucky moment for Mr Renzi, with the “Comrade G” case and the Geithner case giving at least some apparent substance to Mr Berlusconi’s old conspiracy theories and a stronger than ever Five Stars Movement.
