Judge Pietro Molino of the Grosseto Court indicted Mr Francesco Schettino, former captain of the Costa Concordia ship, for manslaughter, injuries, abandonment of people in need, failure to cooperate with Authorities and abandonment of ship.

Mr Schettino was the captain of the Costa Concordia ship when she sank near the Giglio island on 13 January 2012.
