Pavarotti’s widow ‘cured of multiple sclerosis’

Pavarotti’s widow Nicoletta Mantovani.

Mrs. Nicoletta Mantovani, the widow of world  famous opera singer Luciano Pavarotti, claims she has been cured of multiple sclerosis by the experimental chirurgy-based therapy of Professor Paolo Zamboni.

Mr. Zamboni is an Associate Professor of Chirurgy at the Ferrara University.

Zamboni’s therapy protocol, however, is criticized by the Italian scientific and medical community, which warned there is not such thing as a cure of multiple sclerosis.

Similar disputes are not new in Italy.

In 1997-1998, Professor Luigi Di Bella, a former Army surgeon, claimed to have found the cure for cancer.

The Di Bella protocol, however, is now discredited.
